The Problem
Music artists are required to the online application to publish their music albums and get more votes and appreciate, comments from their followers
The Goal
Design a fully responsive website to full fill the user’s needs. Design clean and clear navigation.
User Research.
To better understand the target user and their needs, I conducted user interviews, which I subsequently turned into empathy maps. I found that many target users use mobile applications rather than websites. Users have requested a simple and clear interface to find and do the voting.
Lo-fi prototype.
To prepare for usability testing, I created a low-fidelity prototype that connected the user flow of voting for the desired musicians' profiles.
Usability study.
Next, I sketched out paper wireframes for the home page screen on my website, keeping the user pain points about navigation, browsing, and checkout flow in mind.
Mockups.
Based on the insights from the usability studies, I added a button as anonymous voting to go the voting page directly.
Hi-fi prototype.
The high-fidelity prototype followed the same user flow as the low-fidelity prototype, including design changes made after the usability study.
